Pen Pal Log
A 4-week Letter Exchange Between Shellphone Chronicles and Radical Paths.
Welcome to Two Boats, One Horizon!
This is a short series of open letters exchanged between:
Linda â writing from Duende, in year 14 of ocean exploration, on a large expedition yacht with a double-handed crew, at Shellphone Chronicles
Cory â writing from ChĂ©rie, a smaller boat in its first wild year at sea with his husband and their cat, at Radical Paths
Weâre sailing very different hulls, at different stages of experience, but the same ideas keep surfacing between us: freedom, fear, home, love, and what it means to keep choosing this life, even if itâs not always easy.
Over four weeks, we have shared a series of letters:
stories of first-time crossings and more than a few oh-shit moments
nights when everything felt larger than life
mornings when the ocean gave back our sense of wonder
and the amazing things that somehow only happen when where you call home is where ever you are
These pages from a shared logbook are personal, reflective, sometimes out there, always written from the heart.
